A man has been arrested in connection with a sexual assault on the Millennium Trail in Whitehorse that occurred Friday morning. Police say the incident took place between approximately 10:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m., when a woman jogging on the trail was approached and assaulted.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) report that the suspect remains in custody and is expected to appear in court on November 10, 2025, in Whitehorse, where formal charges will be laid. Investigators from the Whitehorse RCMP and the Specialized Response Unit continue to probe the incident.
